Republic Li Yuan-hung Dollar ND (1912) Inset in silver Dish XF (Polished), Wuchang mint, KM-Y321, L&M-45, Kann-639e. 78mm. 44.47gm. Type without hat. Variety with very weak cross-bar in H in THE. A somewhat scarcer subvariety for this instantly recognizable Dollar of the Republican era, set within a stippled silver dish or ashtray with a bamboo device around the rim, and YUCHANG STERLING below the reverse. Still a rather well-struck representative, with a traces of an extremely faint cross-bar on the first H of the English reverse legend.
