Baden. Leopold I 2 Gulden 1852 MS66 NGC, Karlsruhe mint, KM222, Dav-527, AKS-91, Thun-27. A velveteen masterpiece of both striking quality and painstaking preservation, representing the final date for this 7-year type. While perhaps not as intensively frosty as the 1846-dated specimen in this sale, not a ground for complaint exists here either, with this piece's golden patina offering a slightly more aged appeal. Ex. Dr. Busso Peus Nachfolger Auction 389 (November 2006, Lot 2880) From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
