Guadeloupe Banque de la Guadeloupe 1000 Francs ND (1942) Pick 26a PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45. A unique banknote that is seldom seen in any format. As the highest denomination of this World War II issued series, very few of these prestigious notes were saved for posterity. The Bank of France resumed printing operations at the conclusion of the War, and these supplemental issues were withdrawn. Stains are mentioned on this example but that does not negate the scarcity of this variety.
