Brabant. Philippe le Bon (1433-1467) gold Lion d'Or ND (1454-1456) AU 50 NGC, Mechelen mint, Fr-29, Delm-65. A fine rendition of this rarely-seen type, the last of which we handled in 2016. While imbued with central striking weakness generally encountered with this type, the visual appeal remains bold and the patina deep.
