Description

Bavaria. Ludwig II Proof Taler 1871 PR65 PCGS, KM886.2, J-108, Dav-613. A very rare "Vereinstaler" with no auction results locatable in recent memory by this cataloger in Proof, while the business strikes are easily locatable. The only example certified across NGC and PCGS, this specimen is absolutely superb in hand, graced with cobalt crevices that pair nicely with a pervading pewter patina. Subtle silhouetting adds further dimensionality to the devices, cementing this Gem's eye appeal. HID09801242017 © 2023 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
