Description

Christian IV gold Ducat 1645 AU58 PCGS, Copenhagen mint, KM141, Fr-39. 3.50gm. Hebrew type. An especially attractive Ducat from a series whose gold emissions are increasingly difficult to acquire, especially ones on the cusp of a Mint State assignment. Hardly a trace of weakness is detected through the raised features, all punctuated by abundant residual luster and a light sheen of amber. Covetable so fine, and with only two certifying finer, will doubtlessly be met with bidder enthusiasm. HID09801242017 © 2023 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
