Republic Tsao Kun Dollar ND (1923) UNC Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, Tientsin mint, KM-X1220, L&M-959, Kann-678, WS-0105. Military uniform variety. Produced during the short presidency of Tsao Kun before General Feng Yuxiang's coup in 1924. Despite the noted hairlines, the piece at hand retains the majority of its Mint State appeal, with ornate and finely executed motifs throughout framed by a gentle mauve peripheral tone.
