Charles & Johanna gold Cob Escudo ND (after 1543)-S MS64 NGC, Seville mint, Cal-196. 3.35gm. A very nice coin in hand, as indicated by the near-Gem designation. The strike to the interior motifs was quite bold, impressing a depth hardly ever seen in the Spanish Cob Escudo series.
