The bold strike evinces some doubling on the obverse but is otherwise centered on this near-perfectly rounded planchet. Elizabeth's elaborate "Gloriana" portrait retains the lion's share of its original details with the ruff visible throughout and the queen's jewels and brooches projecting remarkable clarity. The highpoints on the reverse regal shield and crown exhibit a touch more rub, though precision of the devices and legibility of the text is ensured.
