British Colony. Hong Kong & Shanghai gold Tael Bar ND (c. 1950s) UNC,  KM-Unl. 17x25mm. 37.39gm. Bank Insignia (Lion Head), with "999.9 Fine Gold - One Tael - 37.427g - Hongkong Bank." A bit flatly struck around the edges of the stamp, but otherwise wonderfully satiny and original. A notably scarce ingot in such beautiful condition.
