Obv: IMP CAES DIVI TRA PARTH F DIVI NER NEP TRAIANO HADRIANO AVG Bust radiate r. with bare chest, fold of cloak on front shoulder. Rx: CONCORDIA in exergue, PONT MAX [TR POT] COS DES II around, S - C across field, Concordia seated l. on throne, holding patera in r. hand and resting l. elbow on figure of Spes standing l. on low column, cornucopia below seat. Ex Curtis L. Clay Collection; ex Lanz Graz IV, 23 Nov. 1974, Hohenkubin Coll. of Roman Middle Bronzes, lot 253. Scarce COS DES II issue of late 117; RIC lists only one other specimen of this dupondius, from the same dies as ours but more worn (BM-1115).Excellent surfaces . Bold VF
