Rx: Titles TR P XVII, IMP VIII, COS VII P P in exergue, S - C across lower field, Commodus holding eagle-tipped scepter in quadriga left, crowned by Victory standing behind him, star in field l. above the horses' heads. Ex Curtis L. Clay Collection; ex Roma E86, 8 July 2021, lot 1143. Despite considerable wear, our Roma coin could be the same one that Cohen saw, which came from the Greau Collection and was otherwise unknown to Cohen.. Fine / VF
