A nearly complete set of 40 of the 41 numbered sales in the Almanzar's series, plus both mail-bid sales listed by Gengerke, lacking only No. 30 for completion. All but five of the numbered sales are identified on labels as Al Almanzar's reference copies, and nearly all have prices realized lists. 4to, original printed or pictorial card covers (mail-bid sales self-covered). Generally very good or better. A remarkable set of Almanzar catalogues, perhaps most important for Latin American coins and paper money.
