Italian Translation of Eckhel’s Elementary Lessons

Eckhel, (Joseph). LEZIONI ELEMENTARI DI NUMISMATICA ANTICA DELL’ ABBATE ECKHEL TRADOTTE DAL TEDESCO DAL P. D. FELICE CARONNI... Roma: Nella Stamperia Pagliarini, 1808. Oblong 4to [27 by 19.5 cm], later full tan morocco; spine with two raised bands, lettered in brown; brown endpapers. Volume comprises 18.5 by 11.5 cm text block (viii, 82 pages) and 6 engraved plates of coins mounted flat on fine paper. Text somewhat foxed, but otherwise near fine; plates stained and in some places repaired. A translation into Italian of Eckhel’s Kurzgefasste Anfangsgründe zur alten Numismatik (see above) by Father Felice Caronni, who also translated it into Latin. Babelon 131. Not in Leitzmann.
