An original set of this landmark work, rarely offered complete. These are the stand-alone offprint publications, issued in very limited editions, signed and numbered by the author. The text was also published in the Numismatische Zeitschrift (Wien), for 1896, 1897, 1900 and 1918. The set of signed offprints sold as part of our sale of the RBW Library in 2016 brought $4250 hammer; the set in the Salton Library brought $4500.
