Paris, 12–13 mars 1912. 8vo, original printed paper covers. 45, (1) pages; 652 lots; 4 fine plates, the first depicting ancient coins, laid in as issued. Spine reinforced with archival mending tissue; some browning and spotting; very good. Very scarce—the first copy we recall handling. Clément Platt (1874–1952) assumed the business of the late Raymond Serrure in 1919, though he had established himself as a professional numismatist by 1906. The firm continues today as Maison Platt.
