Military Order of the Tower and Sword
A very early, embroidered breast star, 84x82 mm, The arms with thick
embroidery of silver thread and sequines; the centre made with polychrome cloth and threads, with golden wire border, gold-embroidered upper
tower; dark green leather backed reverse, fitted with a silver, vertical pin;
in the original, red morocco, fitted case of issue; an ancient, handwritten
label “III”, glued to the lid’s inner cushion.
A beautiful and very rare piece, dating from the Napoleonic wars, very fine condition. II RR!
