★ Extremely Rare and Interesting ★

Ostrogoths, Uncertain king, early to mid 6th century, Double Follis, Countermarked on a "Judaea Capta" issue, 25.26g, 33mm. Mark of valuation (LXXXIII ) cut into obverse of a Rome mint as of Vespasian Sestertius (RIC II 427). MEC 1, 65.

Very fine, Extremely rare as struck on a Judaea Capta sestertius. Interesting and remarkable grade for a that coin circulated for over four centuries.
