LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10 mm, 2.54 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. Head of Artemis to right, her hair in sphendone; behind, small serpent; all within linear square within incuse square. Bodenstedt 100A. SNG Copenhagen 317 var. (serpent on obverse). SNG von Aulock 1714. An attractive example with a very sharp reverse. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
