ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.92 g, 12 h), Dorothe... and Dioph..., magistrates, 132/1. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. A-ΘE / ΔΩΡ/ΟΘΕ - ΔΙΟΦ Owl standing facing on amphora; to right, forepart of lion to right; on amphora, A; in exergue, ΔI. Thompson 383c. Boldy struck, bright and very attractive. About extremely fine.
