THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 356-342 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 6.07 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly to left, wearing ampyx, pendant earring and necklace. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣ-ΑΙΩΝ Horse standing right, preparing to roll over. BCD Thessaly I 1154 ( same reverse die ) BCD Thessaly II 317. A lovely piece with a fine head of Larissa. Tiny graffito of Π on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
