Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 4.07 g, 1 h), Arelate, 315-316. IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to left, holding spear and shield. Rev. SOLI IN-VI-CTO COMITI / S - F / TARL Sol standing front, head to left and nude but for chlamys, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left. Depeyrot, Émissions, 4/19. Ferrando -. RIC -. Extremely rare. A beautiful example with an impressive bust type. Good very fine.
