Constantine II, 337-340. Follis (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.17 g, 7 h), Alexandria, 333-335. CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine II to right. Rev. GLORIA EXERCITVS / SMALB Two soldiers standing facing each other, each holding inverted spear in his outer hand and placing his inner hand on shield set on ground; between them, two signa. RIC 59. Minor pitting on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.

From an old Swiss collection, formed in the 1970s, and from the collection of Dr. F. Sternberg, Sternberg I, 30 November-1 December 1973, 524 (part of), (with original ticket).
