ISLAMIC, Umayyad Caliphate. temp. al-Walid I ibn 'Abd al-Malik, AH 86-96 / AD 705-715. Dirham (Silver, 25 mm, 2.87 g, 7 h), Dimashq, AH 83 = 702/3. SICA II, 599. Nicely toned and attractive. Graffito on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
From a Swiss collection of Umayyad and Abbasid coins, assembled in the 1970-1980s (with original flip with S. Album’s description).
