NORTHEAST GAUL. Suessiones. Late 2nd to mid 1st century BC. Stater (Gold, 17 mm, 5.81 g, 6 h), 'à l'ancre' type. Devolved laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman transformed into fibula-like figure; below, wheel and small crescent. DT 170. LT 8020 var. (no crescent). SLM -. Nicely toned and clear. Good very fine.
