CELTIC, Central Europe. Boii. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. 1/8 Stater (Gold, 8 mm, 0.98 g), Athena-Alkis-series. Two irregular bulges (reworked die with head of Athena). Rev. Athena Alkis standing left, holding spear in right hand and shield in left; dots replacing letters. Dembski 497. Lanz 34. Paulsen 120-128. Very fine.
