Θ / N/I-K/O/ΛA Nimbate facing bust of Saint Nicholas, raising his right hand in benediction and holding a book of Gospels in his left hand . Rev. + AΓ R,Θ, / CTVΛIAN / MAΓICTP, / TⲰ ΓAR[A]/Λ[A] (?) ('Saint, help Stylianos Gabalas, magistros') in five lines. Unpublished in the standard references. A charming little seal with an attractive portrait of St. Nicholas. Very fine.
