★ A very rare tetradrachm of Seleukos IV Philopator ★

SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos IV Philopator, 187-175 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 16.26 g, 11 h), Tarsos. Diademed head of Seleukos IV to right. Rev. [B]AΣIΛΕΩΣ - ΣΕΛEYKOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, ΣΑ (?); to outer right, monogram of ΠΑ. SC 1308. Very rare. Harshly cleaned and with some flan faults, otherwise, good fine.
