PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy VI Philometor, first reign, 180-164 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 13.50 g, 12 h), Salamis, RY 7 = 164/3. Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis around neck. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛEMAIOY / L Z - ΣΑ Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt. Noeske 223. SNG Copenhagen Supp. 1315. Svoronos 1333. Somewhat rough and with minor flan faults, otherwise, very fine.
