★ An extremely rare 1/4 siliqua of Cunimund ★

GEPIDS. Cunimund, ?-567. 1/4 Siliqua (Silver, 15 mm, 0.69 g, 6 h), probably in the name of Justinian, Sirmium. VVΛИTVISV Highly stylized bust of Justinian to right. Rev. Large cross flanked by two crosses and two stars; below large horizontal C enclosing the cross; above, pellet. Faltin, Group Q5d. Extremely rare. Flan crack, the flan wavy and with minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
