CARIA. Aphrodisias & Plarasa. 1st century BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.55 g, 1 h), Muon and Xenokrates Menandrou, magistrates. Veiled and draped bust of Aphrodite to right, wearing stephane. Rev. [ΠΛΑΡΑΣΕΩΝ Κ]ΑΙ ΑΦΡΟΔΙΦΣΙΩΝ / ΜΥ/ΩN - Ξ[Ε]/N[O]/ΚP[A]/TH[Σ] / M[E]/ΝΑΝΔΡΟΥ Eagle with spread wings standing right on thunderbolt. HN online 258 ( this coin ). Karl -. MacDonald 2 (O3/R5). Very rare. A nicely toned piece of fine style. Thin flan crack and with a scuff on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
