CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 470-460 BC. Tetartemorion (Silver, 7 mm, 0.25 g, 11 h). Facing head of a lion. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with pellets in two opposite quarters. Frolova Type IV. HGC 7, 53. MacDonald 5/2. SNG BM Black Sea -. SNG Stancomb 514. Rare. Slightly granular and with light cleaning scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
