★ A very rare half stater from the Caleti ★

NORTHEAST GAUL. Caleti. 2nd century BC. Half Stater (Electrum, 16 mm, 3.50 g, 9 h). Celticized laureate male head to right. Rev. Celticized horseman to right, holding spear in his right hand; below horse, spear to left; to right, spear. DT 106. LT -. Very rare. Minor flan faults and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
