CENTRAL GAUL. Aedui. Circa 80-50 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 13 mm, 1.92 g, 6 h), 'à la tête casquée - au torque' type. Helmeted head of Roma to left. Rev. Celticized horse galloping left; around, three (?) annulets, one of which contains two pellets. DT 3189 var. (single pellet). LT 5252 var. (single pellet). A rare variety. Very fine.
