SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Geta, as Caesar, 198-209. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 12.31 g, 12 h), 205-207. ΓЄΤΑC KAICAP Bare-headed and draped bust of Geta to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΥΠΑΤΟC•TO•A• Eagle with spread wings standing facing on leg and thigh of a sacrificial animal, head to right and holding wreath in beak. McAlee 717. Prieur 205. Very rare. A few marks on the obverse and with minor flan faults on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
