★ An attractive stater from Thebes ★

BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 425-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 12.07 g, 1 h). Boeotian shield. Rev. ΘΕ Amphora; to right, bunch of grapes. BCD Boiotia 399. HGC 4, 1325. SNG Copenhagen 306. Lightly toned. Minor die rust on the obverse and with a scrape on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
