Basil, emperor of Trebizond, 1332-1340. Asper (Silver, 20 mm, 2.00 g, 6 h). O-A (in monogram form) Є[...] St. Eugenius seated on horseback to right, holding long cross in his right hand and reins in his left. Rev. BA - M Alexius II on horseback to right, holding trilobate scepter in his right hand. SB 2622. Lightly toned and unusually well preserved. About extremely fine.
