BRITAIN. Corieltauvi. Uninscribed, circa 50 BC-AD 20. Stater (Electrum, 19 mm, 5.00 g), 'Kite' type. Devolved head of Apollo to right, consisting of wreath and crescents; to right, [wheel]. Rev. Celticized horse to left; above, kite containing four pellets; below, four-armed spiral. ABC 1761. Van Arsdell 825-1. Rare and unusually well struck. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, extremely fine.
