★ A charming bronze coin from Carthage ★
CARTHAGE. Circa 400-350 BC. AE (Bronze, 15 mm, 3.34 g, 5 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears. Rev. Horse standing right; palm tree in background. MAA 18. SNG Copenhagen 109. A beautiful example with a superb brown patina. Extremely fine.
