PAPHLAGONIA. Sinope. Circa 425-410 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 6.17 g). Head of a sea-eagle to left; below, dolphin swimming left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with two opposing quarters filled, K (or Λ?) within one unfilled quarter. RG -. SNG Copenhagen -. SNG Stancomb -. SNG von Aulock 6837. Rare. Boldly struck in high relief and very attractive. Good very fine.
