Anastasius I, 491-518. Semissis (Gold, 17 mm, 1.92 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis. D N ANASTASIVS P P AVG Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Anastasius to right. Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG / CONOB Victory seated right, inscribing shield set on her knee; to left, star; to right, staurogram. DOC 9. MIB 10. SB 7. A well struck and unusually attractive example. The flan slightly wavy , otherwise, about extremely fine.
