Description

★ Beautifully toned and with a lovely obverse ★

Pub. Crepusius, 82 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.83 g, 6 h), Rome. Laureate head of Apollo to right; behind, scepter and R; below chin, grain ear. Rev. P•CREPVSI Horseman galloping right, hurling spear; in upper left field, control number. Babelon (Crepusia) 1. Crawford 361/1c. RBW 1369 var. (differing controls). Sydenham 738a. A beautifully toned example with a lovely obverse. The reverse struck slightly off center and with a few minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
