Pub. Crepusius, 82 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 4.16 g, 1 h), Rome. Laureate head of Apollo to right; behind, scepter and control letter; before, palm frond. Rev. P•CREPVSI / B Horseman galloping right, hurling spear. Babelon (Crepusia) 1. Crawford 361/1c. RBW 1369 var. (differing controls) Sydenham 738a. Nicely toned. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
