MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 424-350 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 1.77 g, 6 h). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. NEOΠ Head of the nymph of Neapolis to right, her hair coiled around her head and with a bun at the back. AMNG III/2, 9-10. SNG ANS 457. A well centered example. Somewhat porous and with a die break on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
