★ Nicely toned and of fine style ★

KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 14.36 g, 5 h), Amphipolis, struck under Antipater, Polyperchon or Kassander, circa 323/2-316/5. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Young jockey, nude and holding branch and reins, riding horse to right; below horse, wreath; below raised foreleg, Τ. Le Rider pl. 45, 27. SNG ANS 610-4. Nicely toned and of fine style. Light marks and with a test cut on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
