HUNNIC TRIBES, Western Turks. Sri Sahi, circa 650-700. Drachm (Billon, 27 mm, 2.73 g), uncertain mint, possibly in Zabulistan. Draped bust to right, wearing a crown surmounted by blossom and necklace with two ribbons attached; in upper field to left, small Alchon tamgha; to right, σριο βαyo ('His Perfection, King' in Bactrian) and countermark of a beetle. Rev. Stylized Sasanian style altar flanked by two attendants; above, wheel. Göbl 236. Vondrovec, Type 236. Minor flan crack, otherwise, about very fine.
