Geta, as Caesar, 198-209. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.37 g, 12 h), Rome, 206-207. P SEPTIMIVS GETA CAES Bare-headed and draped bust of Geta to right, seen from behind. Rev. VOTA PVBLICA Geta, veiled, standing front, head to left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted tripod and holding roll in his left hand. BMC 466. Cohen 227. RIC 57. A rare and nicely toned coin. Very minor weakness, otherwise, extremely fine.
