ROMAE A-[ETERNAE] / P - R / R Q Roma seated right, inscribing with her right hand shield set on her left knee with X/V in two lines; at her side, shield. RIC -. Extremely rare. Minor smoothing and traces of corrosion and with some weakness on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.

A single die of Constantine II with bust type B5 was used in Rome with the 'P R / R P' emissions. Three coins with the 'ROMAE AETERNAE' reverse are known, one in Madrid and two in private hands, the example in the Ramskold Collection offered here.
