SICILY. Syracuse. Deinomenid Tyranny, 485-466 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 19 mm, 8.06 g, 6 h), circa 475-470. Nude horseman riding to right. Rev. ΣVRA-ΚOΣ-ION Diademed head of Arethusa to right; around, four dolphins swimming right. Boehringer 98 (V46/R66). HGC 2, 1354. Cleaning scratches, otherwise, nearly fine.
