INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Coromandel). Pallavas. Mahendravarman I, circa AD 580-630. AE (Bronze, 13 mm, 1.23 g). SAKALA BHAJANA (in Pallava-Grantha) Humped bull to right. Rev. Large Chakrea (sacred wheel). Krishnamurthy 264. Pieper -. Rare. An attractive example with a charming obverse. Struck slightly off center and with minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
